Thailand Tourism Determination Based on Perceptions of Indonesian Outbound Tourists

Researchers formulate some of the problems faced related to Thailand tourism market determination based on the shopping and culinary aspects that have provided income and economic growth from the Thai tourism sector. 1) what steps to determine the tourist market have been taken by the Thai government to attract foreign or domestic tourists, 2) how to take steps to develop tourism market development in Indonesia based on shopping and culinary aspects. The results showed that food is one of the motivations for tourists in general, food and tourism are a pretty good duet in increasing the number of tourists. This also happens to Indonesian inbound tourists to Thailand. Regarding culinary tourism, based on the results of the questionnaire, similarities in habits, types of food and cultural similarities are the main motivations for Indonesian tourists to visit Thailand.
