Communication of Women in Solving Problems of Women in Disaster Areas

Conversation between women also occurs during disasters, especially at those times there are various problems experienced by women. One of the disasters that often occurs is floods. Floods that often hit parts of Indonesia, especially DKI Jakarta during the rainy season, have caused many losses. There are many problems for women ranging from the problem of lack of assistance for them and other problems that cover their families, so that communication has an important function in solving their problems ranging from logistics to female problems. Therefore, the author wants to conduct research on "How is communication between women in solving women's problems in disaster areas?". So that the research objectives can be achieved, namely being able to understand the communication process between women in solving women's problems in disaster areas. The theory used in this research is Coordinate Management of Meaning, where this theory helps explain how individuals create meaning in conversation. The research paradigm is constructivism, with a qualitative research approach, and using descriptive methods, while the research process is carried out through observation, interviews, eavesdropping, documentation, and literature studies. This study found that communication between flood victims in Kampung Pulo used open and closed communication, all of this depending on the person they were talking to.
