Food technology is the application of food science for sorting, preserving, processing, packaging, distribution, and the use of safe and nutritious foodstuffs. In food technology, the physical, microbiological, and chemical properties of food and the processes that process these foods are studied. His specialties vary, including processing, preservation, packaging, storage and so on.

The Food Technology study program studies the food production process and ensures that the food produced is safe for consumption and meets the nutritional needs of consumers.
